Great pioneers, artists, poets, dancers, writers did not give up at the first bad press! They believed in what they were doing and carried on regardless. Pioneers have a tough job. They come under attack, ridicule, scepticism, and need a lot of patience and inner strength to move forward and stay true. It’s easy to follow, but not so easy to lead. The best leaders are not the ones who make all the noise but lead by example and not dictatorship. Don’t punish yourself for getting it wrong. It’s natural to make mistakes. (Some of the best inventions have come about by mistake). You may feel you can’t do things because you lack something. But you can work with what you have. You don’t have any excuses, even if it’s pouring with rain that shouldn’t stop you gardening or going for a walk! Do what you want, and what you can. Do it, unassumingly and graciously with support. Melt your winter snow and bring in the spring.

Essence The Snowdrop has the ability to melt the snow around it as it holds its own heat. It’s the first flower after the bleakness of winter, a leader without fuss or grand gestures. It’s gentle yet powerful. You can have a little fun! The Snowdrop paves the way for other flowers to follow without a song and dance. Paradoxically if you like a song and dance it will encourage you to do so.
